Executive Guest Chair
Amola B is our guest chair for the executive suite — designed by ITO Design as the counterpoint to the private-office task chair. Where a full-back chair anchors the desk, Amola B receives the visitor: metal wrap-around armrests that trace the graceful orbit of planetary rings, a slim leather-upholstered shell that stays elegant when unoccupied. Sculpted precision, refined double-stitch detailing, modern luxury.
Under the hand-stitched Nappa cowhide sits a five-layer backrest: top-grain leather front, high-resilience moulded foam, an ergonomic honeycomb frame for lateral flex, a reinforced rear frame for structural strength, and top-grain leather rear. The result is a slim silhouette that reads visually light while carrying full lumbar support — the kind of chair a visitor sits in for an hour and doesn’t remember, in the best way.
Amola B uses imported top-grain Nappa cowhide — the outermost layer of the hide, with only light surface treatment, preserving the natural pore structure. Compared to bonded or split leathers, Nappa retains richer visual depth, softer tactile response and superior durability, ageing with a patina rather than cracking or peeling. Double-stitch seams tracing the shell’s curves are executed by hand for consistency across the run.
A BOCK synchronous mechanism — the same class of engineering used in luxury-car suspension systems — sits concealed beneath the seat, wrapped in leather for a seamless underside. Two tilt-lock positions provide a controlled 114° maximum recline; a 65 mm seat-height adjustment fits standard desk heights across a range of user statures. Wire-control buttons are embedded flush in the seat, ensuring smooth operation without disrupting the shell’s silhouette.
Amola B is certified to BIFMA (US commercial furniture durability) and Greenguard (low chemical emissions for healthier indoor air), and its design has been recognised with the iF Design Award, Good Design Award, and German Design Award — three of the international design world’s most rigorous honours. Aluminium alloy one-piece die-cast base, PU-coated quiet casters, integrated alloy armrest proven through 300,000-cycle durability testing. Backed by an 8-year warranty covering armrest, gas lift, mechanism, base and casters.
Available in top-grain Nappa cowhide colourways and a range of woven fabrics, each on a black powder-coated or polished aluminium base.
